Interim Finance Business Partner
We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic and growing organisation within the education sector. This is a key role providing strategic and operational financial support across multiple service areas, helping to drive performance, efficiency, and value for money. Based in Sutton Coldfield (Hybrid working). Contract length: April - Dec. Key Responsibilities: Attend monthly finance meetings with the Operational Director to review financial performance, year-to-date results, and forward forecasts. Provide strategic financial insight and partnering support to Estates, Catering, and IT functions, ensuring effective budget management, cost control, and value optimisation. Collaborate with operational leads and academy stakeholders to analyse performance, develop business cases, and ensure financial compliance in line with ESFA regulations and organisational objectives. Produce accurate and timely monthly operational management accounts in line with the Trust''s reporting timetable. Support the CFOO, Head of Finance, and Financial Controller in the preparation of consolidated management accounts through detailed analysis and reporting. Manage prepayments and accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting and a true reflection of financial position. Complete all month-end processes and associated checklists to a high standard. Partner with Principals to maintain and enhance the accuracy of the Integrated Curriculum Financial Plan. Work close
