The RoleAs part of a dedicated team, you''ll play a key role in keeping a fleet of commercial vehicles safe, compliant, and road-ready. You''ll be involved in everything from routine servicing to complex diagnostics and full vehicle rebuilds. Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a fleet of HGVs Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment Complete repairs efficiently and in line with manufacturer guidelines Undertake electrical work, strip-downs, and rebuilds Work collaboratively with the parts team to ensure correct components are used Accurately complete job cards, service sheets, and time records Identify and report vehicle defects to the Workshop Supervisor Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Support apprentices and trainees as required Road test vehicles and attend breakdowns when necessary (if qualified) What We''re Looking For Time-served HGV / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work Ability to work both independently and as part of a team HGV licence (desirable but not essential) What''s on Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Stable, ..... full job details .....
