Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Leeds - 55,000 Days Afternoons Nights Weekends off Annual Bonus Training and Progression A well-established packaging manufacturer in Leeds is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a tight-knit maintenance team on a stable, growing site. This isn''t a reactive-only role, the team is structured around planned maintenance, reliability improvement and continuous improvement, with real time built in to work on things properly. You''ll be working across automated processing lines and production equipment, fault-finding on motors, drives, sensors and PLC-controlled systems, with mechanical support across pneumatics and hydraulics. There''s scope to get involved in commissioning projects and improvement work if that''s the direction you want to grow. What the kit looks like Electrical: motors, drives, sensors, control panels, PLCs Mechanical: pneumatics, hydraulics, processing lines Systems: PPM schedules, permit to work, safe isolation Projects: commissioning, reliability improvement, CI What they''re looking for Multi-skilled maintenance background in manufacturing (food, FMCG or similar high-volume environment preferred) Strong electrical fault-finding ability: motors, drives, sensors, control panels PLC fault-finding experience Mechanical skills across pneumatics and hydraulics NVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (18th Edition desirable) The site has a strong internal
