The company supplies a wide range of market sectors including FMCG, horticulture, retail, pharmaceutical, E Commerce, Food to Go, Distributors and Industrial.They are currently looking to recruit a competent Structural Designer to join their current team who will be primarily office based.Key Responsibilities: Create innovative corrugated packaging structures using CAD software (AG Kasemake) and sometimes 3D modelling toolsDevelop prototypes, conduct material analysis, and perform structural integrity tests to ensure designs meet performance and cost requirements.Prepare detailed specifications, structural drawings, and setup instructions for production and retail environments including ordering formes and stereos.Evaluate existing packaging for improvements in style, function, cost, and ease of assemblyDevelop innovative packaging concepts that meet customer briefs, leveraging the full capabilities of the company design networkMonitor and interpret design trends across multiple market sectors to proactively identify opportunities and deliver creative solutions for customersStay up to date with the latest design tools and technologies to offer customers sustainable and competitive advantages through their proposals
