This is a varied role with a strong emphasis on credit control and managing outstanding customer accounts, alongside some purchase ledger responsibilities.The successful candidate will be confident communicating with customers, resolving invoice queries and ensuring payments are received in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of their workload.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit ControlProactively manage and chase outstanding customer payments via telephone and email.Monitor aged debt reports and ensure overdue accounts are followed up promptly.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage timely payment.Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries, liaising with internal departments where necessary.Allocate customer payments accurately and maintain up-to-date account records.Reconcile customer accounts and identify discrepancies.Escalate overdue or high-risk accounts where appropriate.Support cash flow by minimising outstanding debt and reducing debtor days.Purchase LedgerProcess supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation ..... full job details .....
