Right now, we are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Barnet Community Mental Health Team Service in Barnet. Sounds great, what will I be doing? As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults experiencing moderate to severe mental ill health as part of a multidisciplinary NHS Community Mental Health Team. Working closely with clinicians, social workers, families and community partners, you will support individuals to identify and achieve their personal recovery goals, build confidence and strengthen their connections within their local community. You will hold a caseload of service users, helping to develop recovery plans, monitor progress and coordinate support that promotes independence, wellbeing and social inclusion. You will build positive therapeutic relationships using trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches, supporting service users to access local resources, attend appointments and engage in meaningful activities that enhance their recovery journey.
