Your new roleAs Procurement Manager, you will deliver a professional, compliant and commercially focused procurement service across a defined portfolio of spend categories. You will lead high-value, high-risk and complex procurement exercises from initiation through to contract handover, ensuring robust supply chain solutions that support operational delivery.Operating as a trusted business partner, you will apply strong commercial judgement and expert knowledge of public procurement legislation, driving best-in-class procurement practices and value for money outcomes. You will influence senior stakeholders, shape sourcing strategies, manage tender processes end-to-end and contribute to the continuous development of procurement capability.Key responsibilities include:Leading complex procurement projects using effective project management techniquesApplying and interpreting PCR 2015, the Procurement Act 2023 Developing sourcing strategies informed by market engagement and category analysisDrafting robust tender and contract documentationManaging tender processes via e-procurement systems, including evaluation and awardProviding expert commercial advice, negotiation support and contract management guidance to a range of stakeholdersSupporting value for money, cost reduction and social value outcomesContributing to procurement strategy, procedures and templatesWhat you''ll need to succeedYou will be a commercially astute procurement professional with the confidence and credibili
