Are you a Service Engineer from a medical equipment background looking to join an expanding biomedical engineering company where you will work on specialist decontamination equipment, benefit from ongoing training and progression, and cover a local South Wales patch?

Established over 30 years ago, this leading independent biomedical engineering specialist provides medical device supply, maintenance, training and lifecycle management services to healthcare providers across the UK and abroad. In this role, you will carry out scheduled PPM, servicing, validation and modification of decontamination plant and equipment across a South Wales patch. You will work on electrical, electronic, mechanical, plumbing, steam and pneumatic systems, provide technical support and user training, and ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and available for patient use.

This role would suit a Service Engineer or similar from a medical equipment background looking for a predominantly PPM-focused field role covering a local South Wales patch.

THE ROLE:

• Carry out scheduled PPM, servicing, validation and modification of decontamination equipment
• Undertake electrical, electronic, mechanical, plumbing, steam and pneumatic maintenance
• Carry out HTM 01 testing and maintain accurate service and compliance records
• Provide user training and technical support to healthcare staff
• Ensure equipment remains operational, compliant and safe for patient use

THE PERSON:

• Service Engineer or similar
• Background in decontamination, medical equipment, sterilisation, biomedical engineering or a related field
• Relevant engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Able to work independently across a South Wales patch
