An excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant looking for a part-time afternoon role in a Romford based school. You will be working in the Year 2 class, supporting the teacher and helping the students with their leraning during key afternoon lessons. Monday - Friday, part-time afternoons only 1.30pm - 3.30pm (Term time only) Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom support to the class teacher and contribute to a positive learning enviroment. Work with students in small groups or 1:1 to reinforce learning and provide additional guidance. Assist with preparation of resources and classroom organisation. Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain the school s high expectations. Support the students with varying learning needs to promote engagement and progress. Safeguard the students by following school policies and procedures at all times. The ability to work effectively during a short but busy part of the school day.
