Lecturer in Public Services and Sports Location: South East LondonHours per Week: 37 (Note: Lunch breaks are unpaid and should not be claimed on weekly timesheets.)Contract Type: TemporarySalary: £28-£30p/h up to £35 umbrellaStart Date: Urgently requiredWe are seeking a dedicated Agency Lecturer in Sport and Public Services to join our team at the London South East Campus. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about teaching and developing curriculum in both Sport and Public Services. The position involves teaching Level 3 Sport one day per week and spending the remaining time teaching Level 2 and 3 Public Services.Day-to-day of the role:Teach across a range of levels and awarding bodies, including L1, L2, and L3 courses, working with NCFE and BTEC.Assist with the planning and organisation of Sports and Public Services programmes.Contribute to curriculum development and the expansion of the department.Participate in marketing events and promote Sport and Public Services courses within the Service Industries curriculum areas.Manage courses and provide a high-quality learning experience that meets or exceeds College standards, resulting in high levels of student retention and achievement.Develop course materials, schemes of work, lesson plans, and make these available through the college''s shared information system.Undertake administrative, tutorial, and pastoral duties for one or more groups of full-time or part-time students.Engage in continuous professiona
