Process Cooling Application Engineer Location: Tamworth Working Hours: Monday Friday (Friday finish at 2:30pm) Salary: Competitive + Benefits Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity An established engineering business specialising in industrial cooling and temperature-control solutions is looking to recruit a Process Cooling Application Engineer to join its Project Management team. This is a technical application and solution-design role, providing pre-order engineering support to the Sales team and ensuring customer requirements are translated into accurate, practical and commercially viable cooling solutions. Working closely with customers, suppliers, Sales, Purchasing and Project Management, you will assess application requirements, select suitable equipment, carry out technical calculations and develop specifications for a variety of industrial process cooling projects. This is primarily an application engineering position rather than a design or CAD-focused role, although some drawing work may be required. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and engineering support to the Sales team on industrial process cooling applications. Review sales handovers to ensure customer requirements, technical specifications, operating conditions and project scope are clearly defined.
