TUNNELLING GENERAL FOREMAN REQUIRED - SOUTHAMPTONWe are currently recruiting an experienced Tunnelling Site Manager for an exciting project based in Southampton.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in reinforced concrete, shaft sinking and tunnelling environments.Accommodation paid for 6-12 months, company van and fuel card provided.Key Responsibilities and Requirements:Experienced in pipejacking, tunnelling, shaft sinking.Strong HSQE values including ensuring all risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are fully implemented and that operatives are wearing correct PPE.Document and report near-misses, accidents, and changing site conditions to managementDaily Briefings, Toolbox Talks, inspections.Ability to work with the wider project teamEnsure adequate manpower, materials, and plant equipment are available and organized on-site.Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for the site crew.Good record keeping, ability to solve problems, work to specification.Good communicator who can manage multiple gangs and develop younger members of the team.Submitting timesheets.Location: SouthamptonPackage includes:Accommodation paid for 6-12 months.Company van provided.Fuel card provided.We are looking for a proactive and organised Tunnelling Site Manager with excellent leadership, communication and management skills, who can oversee site operations and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the ..... full job details .....
