We are looking for an experienced Panel Wirer to join a fast-paced manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring electrical control panels to specification, working from electrical drawings and schematics, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.Key Responsibilities Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematicsWire and assemble electrical control panels to specification and deadlinesInstall components such as contactors, relays, PLCs, power supplies, terminals, and cable management systemsCarry out point-to-point wiring, crimping, looming, and trunkingEnsure panels are built to relevant electrical standards and company proceduresIdentify and resolve wiring issues or discrepancies in drawingsWork efficiently to meet production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMaintain a clean, safe, and organised work areaLiaise with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams as required Skills and Experience Required Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical FitterStrong ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematicsExperience wiring control panels in a manufacturing or industrial environmentGood knowledge of electrical components and panel layoutsCompetent in crimping, cable preparation, and panel wiring techniquesHigh attention to detail and qualityAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Qualifications Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 2
