We are seeking a hands-on and proactive

Hotel Maintenance Manager

to oversee all property maintenance operations, ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of the hotel. This position is responsible for managing a team of technicians and contractors, conducting regular inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and swiftly addressing any repairs to provide a safe, welcoming, and high-quality guest experience.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all hotel systems and facilities are fully operational and well-maintained.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, etc.).

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance and safety issues.

Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.

Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and purchasing of tools, supplies, and equipment.

Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors and contractors for specialized work.

Ensure compliance with local health, safety, fire, and building codes and regulations.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.

Train, lead, and motivate the maintenance team; set performance goals and conduct evaluations.

Participate in capital planning and property improvement projects.

Provide emergency response support during critical incidents, including power outages, water leaks, or weather-related damage.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in facility or property maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

Experience with building management systems (BMS) is an advantage.

Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, when needed.

Leadership experience with ability to manage a small team.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or trade licenses preferred.

Preferred Certifications:

HVAC Certification

Electrical License

Pool Operator Certification (if applicable)

First Aid / Fire Safety Training
