With a fast-paced and collaborative culture, the business is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to take ownership of the AP function and lead a team through its next stage of development based in Trafford Park.Your new roleAs Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Accounts Payable function, ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and efficiently whilst maintaining strong financial controls.You will manage and develop the AP team, monitor workloads and KPIs, and act as the main escalation point for more complex supplier and payment queries. A key part of the role will also be identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls and drive greater efficiency across the wider purchase-to-pay function.Key responsibilities will include:Managing and developing the Accounts Payable teamOverseeing the end-to-end AP and purchase-to-pay processEnsuring invoices are processed accurately and within agreed timescalesManaging payment runs and supplier statement reconciliationsOverseeing supplier queries and resolving escalated issuesEnsuring appropriate controls are maintained around supplier details and paymentsMonitoring team workloads, service levels and KPIsSupporting month-end activities, reconciliations and reportingWorking closely with Procurement, Finance and ..... full job details .....
