Role Purpose For the Domestic Cleaner: The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment within the residential care home. The role will involve general domestic duties as well as laundry duties, ensuring residents'' rooms, communal areas, clothing and bedding are maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities For the Domestic Cleaner: Carry out general cleaning and domestic duties throughout the residential care home. Clean residents'' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms and other areas as required. Complete laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding and ironing residents'' clothing and bedding. Change and maintain residents'' bedding as required. Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control are maintained. Safely use cleaning products and equipment in accordance with relevant procedures. Follow health and safety and COSHH procedures. Work respectfully and professionally around residents and care staff.
