About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Safety Surveyor to join a leading housing association on an initial 3-month ongoing contract.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing fire risk assessment works, identifying fire safety defects and ensuring remedial works are completed to the required standards across a diverse property portfolio.The role involves travelling across East and West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, with weekly attendance at the Horsham office and monthly visits to the Farringdon office in London. Occasional overnight stays or day trips to the Isle of Wight may be required. Key Responsibilities Oversee fire risk assessment works, ensuring remedial actions are completed within agreed timescales. Conduct pre- and post-inspections of fire safety works across residential properties. Identify building fire safety defects and deficiencies, recommending appropriate remedial solutions.
