The Avionics Business Unit is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting a variety of products including Search and Rescue Direction Finders, Emergency Services Air to Ground Radios, and GNSS Anti-Jam equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply extensive knowledge of electronics circuit design and development within a high-impact industry. You will engage with customers, support meetings, and participate in systems integration and product verification/validation trials.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership for the design and development of electronic sub-systems for the aerospace and defence market.Deliver project tasks to schedule, cost and quality while adhering to internal processes and best practice.Research, design, develop and prototype electronic solutions in support of product development.Characterise, test and down-select components for performance and cost.Schematic capture of mixed signal circuit design (Analogue, RF, and Digital) using Altium or similar.Test, characterisation and verification of prototype designs.Circuit simulation using LT Spice, Agilent ADS.Develop, write, and deploy software to aid evaluation of electronic devices or automate test equipment using C# or similar.Provide inputs to ensure designs meet requirements for manufacture utilising DFx and/or lean concepts.Use laborato
