Electrician

Location: Reading / Southampton / Oxford
Day Rate: -230250 (cis/LTD) or -174.96 - -190.17 (PAYE)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We''re seeking skilled NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electricians, supporting a major social housing provider who own and manage over 40,000 homes across the UK. Covering Reading, Southampton, and Oxford, you''ll play a key role in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient electrical installations across a large housing portfolio.

• Conduct inspection and testing for condition reporting of electrical installations

• Install smoke and heat alarms

• Perform fault finding and diagnosis

• Carry out Consumer Control Unit (CCU) upgrades

• Undertake partial rewires and reactive maintenance

• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations

• Complete all certification and reports accurately and on time

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent)

• BS 7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)

• ECS Gold Card

• Own tools and full UK driving licence

(SSSTS qualification is desirable but not essential.)

• -230250 per day (depending on experience)

• Long-term, secure contract with the potential to go permanent
