Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Integrated Assessment Team for Reading Borough Council. Duties and Responsibilities: Leading and supervising a team of Social Workers within a fast-paced Assessment service. Overseeing high-quality assessments and ensuring timely decision-making for children and families. Providing professional guidance, reflective supervision, and oversight of complex and high-risk cases. Ensuring robust safeguarding practice and effective multi-agency collaboration. Monitoring performance, workflow, and compliance with statutory requirements and local procedures. Driving continuous improvement and promoting strong, child-centred social work practice. Supporting the allocation and progression of cases through the Assessment pathway. Ensuring accurate case recording and high-quality reporting in line with service expectations. Working Pattern: Hybrid working (office presence required based on service needs). Fast-paced Assessment environment.
