We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a busy residential housebuilding project in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established housebuilder on a long-term temporary contract, with approximately 18 months remaining on the project. The Role As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of a residential housing development. You will ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest possible quality standards. Key Responsibilities Managing the day-to-day running of the construction site. Supervising subcontractors and coordinating all daily site activities. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures. Managing and maintaining the construction programme to ensure deadlines are met. Monitoring the quality of work and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the development. Coordinating trades, subcontractors, materials and site logistics. Carrying out regular site inspections and monitoring progress against the programme. Managing site paperwork, including health and safety documentation, inspections and records. Ensuring plots are completed to the required standard and ready for handover. Liaising with the Contracts Manager, technical teams, subcontractors and other key stakeholders.
