Remedy Education is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 class in the SE5 area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about primary education who enjoys helping pupils develop their confidence, engage with learning and reach their full potential.

The Role

• Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.

• Work with Year 5 pupils to reinforce learning across the primary curriculum.

• Provide additional support to pupils who need help understanding tasks and concepts.

• Assist with preparing classroom resources and learning materials.

• Help maintain a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.

• Encourage pupils'' participation, confidence and independence.

• Support classroom behaviour and work collaboratively with the teaching team.

The Ideal Candidate

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.

• Be confident supporting Key Stage 2 pupils.

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Be patient, proactive and enthusiastic about supporting children''s learning.

• Be confident helping pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
