Working within the onsite Vehicle Maintenance Unit, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of HGV trailers, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in trailer repairs and maintenance, along with a solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.Working HoursDay Shift 41.5 hours per weekMonday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:30pmFriday: 7:30am to 3:30pm30-minute unpaid lunch break daily Night Shift 39 hours per weekMonday to Thursday: 7:45pm to 6:00am30-minute unpaid break per shift Occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required to support business needs.Key Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.Perform safety inspections in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify faults and implement effective repairs.Complete service documentation, job cards, and compliance records accurately.Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime.Support workshop colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.Maintain ..... full job details .....
