This role is ideal for someone who understands that behaviour is communication, and who can offer consistency, boundaries, humour and genuine care in equal measure.This provision is particularly keen to welcome positive mentors who can engage, motivate and inspire boys across both primary and secondary age ranges.About the Young PeopleThe children and young people you''ll support typically have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, often alongside additional needs such as: ADHD / ADDAutism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Trauma and attachment difficultiesAnxiety, emotional regulation challenges and low self-esteem Many of these pupils have experienced disrupted education, including exclusion or breakdowns in mainstream settings. They may present with: Dysregulated or challenging behaviourDifficulty trusting adultsLow confidence in learningHigh energy, impulsivity or emotional overwhelm What they need most are consistent adults who don''t give up on them - people who can model positive relationships, keep boundaries firm but fair, and show them that school can be a safe, supportive place again.The RoleAs an SEMH Learning and Behaviour Men
