Trainee Estimator - Derby

What You''ll Be Doing:

• Interpreting customer requirements and preparing estimates and quotations for gabion and retaining wall solutions.
• Collaborating with commercial and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to build project costings and maintain relationships.
• Supporting the construction team through project completion.
• Assisting with general office administration and supporting senior colleagues.

What We''re Looking For: Essential:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail in numeracy, grammar, and presentation.
• Some office experience.

Desirable:

• A qualification in construction or office administration.
• Experience in sales, estimating, or a compatible trade.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings or QS-type roles.
• Understanding of retaining wall solutions or groundworks.
• A full driving licence and access to a car for occasional site visits.
