As the UK''s largest independent group in the sector, we pride ourselves on being a business where individuals can make a real impact.The ideal candidate will be hands-on, safety-focused, and capable of delivering high-quality welding and fabrication work in a demanding production environment. While experience in heavy industry or concrete manufacturing is beneficial, we welcome any competent welder/fabricator with strong mechanical skills and a proactive drive.Your ResponsibilitiesWelding and Fabrication: Carry out high-quality MIG and stick welding; fabricate, repair, and modify plant structures including chutes, hoppers, guards, platforms, and moulds.Mechanical Maintenance: Perform mechanical repairs on mixers, conveyors, material-handling systems, and batch plant equipment.Wear Protection: Complete hard-facing and wear-protection welding to extend component life in high-abrasion environments.Preventative Care: Support planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective activities to ensure plant reliability.Rapid Response: Attend to urgent breakdowns to restore production safely and efficiently.Safety and Compliance: Strictly follow hot-work, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and confined space procedures.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs in
