Job Title: Technical Services Manager (MandE) Location: Romford, Essex / Site Visits Salary: 85,000 - 95,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits The Role: Seeking an experienced, mechanically biased MandE professional with strong technical expertise in mechanical building services and a good understanding of electrical systems. Provide technical oversight of all mechanical and electrical elements across the business, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. Review MandE tender documentation, specifications and drawings to identify technical risks, opportunities and potential design issues. Work closely with estimating teams to review subcontractor quotations, identify exclusions and ensure tender submissions are accurate and comprehensive. Assess and recommend suitable MandE subcontractors from the company''s approved supply chain and attend tender interviews where required. Support commercial teams with procurement, ensuring subcontractor quotations align with tender requirements and contractual obligations. Provide technical guidance to Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Design Managers, assisting with technical queries, design coordination and subcontractor management. Review subcontractor technical submissions, RFIs, construction drawings and specifications, attending design meetings where necessary.
