Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper

Exciting opportunity to join a small team, reporting directly into the Finance Director with growing employer in Perth!What''s on offer: Competitive salary ranging from 27k to 30k, based on experience Permanent position with working hours: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, office based Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment Professional development and growth opportunitiesKey Responsibilities: Efficiently handle customer and supplier payments, ensuring accurate reconciliation of transactions Manage deposit receipts and deposit funds to the bank Reconcile and process supplier remittances Handle credit card payments Assist with tax return filings Process customer direct debit payments before month-end Email customer statements Accurately process international supplier payments Raise and process invoices Log and process customer credit requests Handle rebate credits for key accounts Process supplier payments at month-end and as required Efficiently handle and forward incoming and outgoing mail Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Provide support to the finance team and assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as neededSkills we are looking for: Previous experience in a bookkeeper or finance role Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail Proficiency in financial software such as Interprise, MySagePay, Smartsheet, or similar systems Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple
