Due to an increasing forward workload, my client is currently looking to appoint an Intermediate/Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist position within the London and Bristol Teams. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the renewables, transportation, industrial, retail, residential and commercial sectors. RESPONSIBILITIES Data collection, manipulation and interpretation of both geotechnical and geo-chemical data as part of site investigations for wide range of schemes Preparation of Geotechnical Desk Studies, Interpretative Reports and Specifications Design, Procurement and Supervision of Site Investigations. Undertake geotechnical analysis and design e.g. slope stability, settlement assessments and foundation and retaining wall design Management of multiple projects Management and Technical oversight of Junior team members Preparation of Fee proposals and input into Tenders QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering / Geology/ Engineering Geology or similar Experience in the design, specification and management of ground investigation works Proven experience in geotechnical design to UK Eurocodes as part of a multi-disciplinary projects Experience undertaking geotechnical design works for shallow and deep foundations, piling works, earthworks, sl
