OverviewHIU Engineer / Plumber - FM Service Provider - Finsbury Park, North London - £45,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Static Mechanical / HIU engineer / Plumber to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a high-end residential contract based in Finsbury Park. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for a maintenance plumber currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Responsibilities

HIU servicing, maintenance and remedials

Exchange of domestic central heating system components including radiators, cylinders, tanks, and system controls

Power flushing of central heating systems

Close down reactive completed works as per site requirements and report issues back to the contract support desk

Undertake plumbing tasks to domestic and commercial installations including pressure systems, FCUs, pipe work, radiators, valves, pumps and motors

Increase pressure in pipe systems and observe connected pressure gauge systems to test for leaks

Hot and cold water systems, calorifiers, boilers, Legionella control, and general plumbing services

Cold water storage tanks

Strong knowledge and experience in working with HIU

Communicate with clients to understand requirements, provide updates on work progress, and address any concerns

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, installations, and compliance documentation

Hours and Package

Basic Salary of up to £45,000

No Call out

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00

23 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Tablet and Work Phone Provided

Full company uniform

Requirements

Plumbing - City and Guilds Level 2 (Desirable)

Must be able to pass a DBS check or have a current DBS (Essential)

Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates

A proven track record in commercial building maintenance

Multi-skilled

Good communication skills

Client facing
