This role is based at a gas-fired power station and involves supporting the Production Team Leader in all operational activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the plant while contributing to energy management and environmental compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plant safely and efficiently.Support the Production Team Leader in all operational activities.Diagnose and resolve plant-related issues.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act and Environmental Protection Act.Implement company policies and procedures related to station operations.Carry out operational routines, plant testing, and maintenance tasks within competence.Manage and supervise contractors on-site.Conduct self-audits on health, safety, and environmental compliance and complete behavioural audits of contractors and staff.Communicate with National Grid to ensure compliance with REMIT and load profiles.Assist in driving operational improvements and efficiency initiatives.What We Are Looking ForMinimum Apprenticeship/ONC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.At least 2 years'' experience in the operation and/or maintenance of a CCGT plant.Strong technical knowledge with the a
