Accounts Assistant
Sharp Consultancy are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a finance team in Huddersfield on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role plays a key part in supporting the Assistant Accountant, ensuring all invoices are accurately checked, matched, and processed in a timely manner.The RoleAs Accounts Assistant, your main focus will be supporting purchase ledger and accounts administration activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure financial processes run smoothly.Key responsibilities include:Processing electronic invoices for authorisationPurchase Ledger administrationMatching supplier invoices to delivery notesLiaising with suppliers and responding to queriesProcessing incoming supplier statementsCompleting and sending new account applications for new suppliersInputting new supplier details onto Sage X3 and completing credit account formsManaging electronic supplier filesMaintaining returnable packaging spreadsheetsManaging internal debit notes and reconciling with supplier credit notesThe successful candidate will:Have experience in a similar accounts or finance roleBe highly organised, methodical, and detail focusedDemonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to query and challenge where necessaryBe a motivated self starter, able to prioritise workload effectivelyHave excellent administration skills and a professional approach at all timesWhat''s
