This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work on a varied range of projects, develop their technical expertise and contribute to delivering effective solutions to complex environmental challenges.The RoleThe successful candidate will be involved in the planning, management and delivery of ground investigations and contaminated land assessments. Working closely with senior colleagues, clients, contractors and regulators, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning, supervising and managing ground investigations and remediation projects.Undertaking site visits, ground investigations, soil and rock logging, and soil and groundwater sampling.Preparing Preliminary Risk Assessments (PRAs), Generic Quantitative Risk Assessments (GQRAs), factual reports and interpretative reports.Developing remediation strategies and supporting the implementation of remediation schemes.Assessing land contamination risks and interpreting laboratory results.Liaising with clients, contractors, local authorities and environmental regulators.Managing project budgets, programmes and deliverables where appropriate.Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental legislation, technical ..... full job details .....
