As a Behaviour Support Worker, you\''ll work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support students on a one-to-one or small group basis. Your role will involve promoting positive behaviour, managing challenging situations, and helping students engage with their learning in a safe, supportive environment.Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support to students in schools across Bradford.Promote positive behaviour strategies and create safe, supportive learning environments.Assist teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams in managing classroom behaviour and de-escalating situations.Monitor and report on student progress and behavioural concerns.Ideal Candidates Will Have
Experience working with young people in a school or youth/community settingStrong behaviour management and de-escalation skillsA calm, confident, and resilient approachThe ability to build positive relationships and act as a role modelKnowledge of trauma-informed practice or SEMH (desirable)An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What We Offer
