Painter - Student AccommodationLocation:Leeds, LS1Start Date: ASAPContract: Temporary - until Thursday 3rd SeptemberPay Rate: £18.50 per hourWorking Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm 9:00am-5:00pmWe are currently recruiting for Painters and Decorators to work at a student accommodation site in Leeds, helping to prepare bedrooms and bathrooms ahead of student check-ins.The successful candidates will have previous painting experience and be comfortable working at pace while maintaining a high standard of finish. You will need to work confidently with minimal supervision and ensure areas are left clean, tidy and ready for occupation.Key Responsibilities: Painting bedrooms, bathrooms and other areas within student accommodation. Preparing surfaces before painting, including filling, sanding and basic preparation. Applying paint neatly and efficiently to walls, ceilings, woodwork and other surfaces. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment throughout the job. Protecting floors, fixtures, fittings and furniture from paint splashes or damage. Identifying areas requiring additional preparation or attention. Working independently with relatively minimal supervision. Following site health and safety procedures. Ensuring completed rooms are presented to a clean, professional standard ready for student check-in.The Ideal Candidate: Previous professional or substantial painting experience.
