The Supply Register is recruiting caring, patient and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to work at Beckfoot Hazelbeck School in Keighley, supporting students aged 11–19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a specialist secondary school, supporting young people with complex learning needs, autism (ASC), communication difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

We have opportunities for long-term, day-to-day and temp-to-perm placements.

Location: Beckfoot Hazelbeck School, Keighley
Contract: Long-term, day-to-day and temp-to-perm
Working Pattern: Full-time, term-time only
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with SEND

• Support pupils with complex learning and communication needs

• Assist with personalised learning programmes and classroom activities

• Support personal care routines, including toileting and hygiene, while maintaining dignity and independence

• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development

• Encourage independence, confidence and engagement

• Work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (desirable, but not essential)

• A caring, patient and empathetic approach

• Confidence and willingness to support personal care

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Resilience and the ability to adapt to individual pupil needs

• A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
