The Role

As Assistant Manager, you''ll support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store, helping to drive sales, improve retail KPIs and maintain excellent operational standards.

You''ll be responsible for:

• Supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and improving store performance

• Leading, motivating and coaching the team to deliver excellent customer service

• Driving sales through product knowledge, customer engagement and effective selling techniques

• Helping recruit, train and develop team members

• Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation

• Ensuring customers receive knowledgeable advice on products, features and availability

• Promoting multi-channel shopping options to enhance the customer experience

• Supporting stock management, replenishment and product availability

• Assisting with rotas, payroll and controlling store costs

• Monitoring retail KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve performance

• Maintaining company policies, procedures and brand standards

• Taking responsibility for the store in the Store Manager''s absence

About You

We''re looking for a motivated and commercially aware Assistant Manager who enjoys leading from the front and helping a team achieve its potential.

You''ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Supervisor within retail

• Experience within fashion, lifestyle, clothing, footwear, accessories or premium retail

• A track record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service

• Strong communication and team leadership skills

• Experience coaching, motivating and developing colleagues

• Commercial awareness and an understanding of retail KPIs

• An eye for detail and an appreciation of visual merchandising

• A proactive, hands-on approach to retail management

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to support day-to-day store operations
