The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Chillers Service Engineer to join our Birmingham team.
This is a hands-on role where you''ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, repairing, and fault-finding on a wide range of specialist cooling and heating equipment. Working across customer sites and our specialist fleet, you''ll play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment remains safe, reliable, and ready to perform when our customers need it most.
What You''ll Be Doing
- Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair work on industrial chillers and associated equipment
- Maintaining the safe operation and presentation of equipment including chillers, boilers, dehumidifiers, AHUs, and ancillary systems
- Performing inspections, servicing, testing, cleaning, and maintenance in line with company procedures
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs within your level of training and technical competence
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
- Maintaining accurate service, inspection, testing, and calibration records
- Travelling to customer sites to support installations, servicing, and breakdown response
- Acting as a professional ambassador for Andrews Sykes and the Specialist Hire Division at all times
What We''re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- F-Gas qualified
- Strong understanding of chillers and boilers
- Experience in fault-finding, maintenance, and repair
- Willingness to travel as part of the role
- Flexibility to work outside normal working hours when required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
Desirable
- Previous experience working with industrial chillers
- Experience within a similar service engineering environment
- Knowledge of AHUs and specialist cooling equipment
