Executive Search Researcher
to join their team in London. This is a pivotal role with significant scope for development, including the opportunity to step into a management position as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed market mapping and candidate identification for senior-level mandates (Director, VP, C-suite).
Build longlists and support targeted outreach strategies.
Perform desk research including organisational analysis, competitor benchmarking, and talent pipelining.
Pre-screen candidates and assess alignment with client briefs.
Maintain search progress trackers and internal databases.
Prepare candidate briefing documents, market insights, and client-facing research outputs.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of research tools, processes, and systems.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years’ experience in executive search research or delivery, ideally within a boutique or sector-focused firm.
Exposure to media, data, information services, or technology sectors is advantageous.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Excellent desk research, analytical, and written communication abilities.
Comfortable managing multiple assignments independently.
Proficient in LinkedIn, research platforms, and productivity tools.
Commercially aware with a genuine interest in leadership, strategy, and market dynamics.
