Aftercare Maintenance Operative (Mobile) Home-Based with Travel Across London & Surrounding Areas

An established specialist within the modular construction sector is seeking an experienced Aftercare Maintenance Operative to carry out maintenance and repair works across a variety of client sites. This is a mobile role, ideal for someone with a strong trade background who enjoys working independently and delivering excellent customer service.

• Strong building maintenance experience, ideally within modular buildings
• Trade background in Joinery, Roofing, or Plumbing
• Electrical knowledge would be advantageous
• Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Health & Safety awareness
• IPAF and PASMA certification preferred
• Experience preparing RAMS and safety documentation
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS card
• DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience working at height using MEWPs, scissor lifts, and scaffold towers
• Ability to supervise operatives on site when required

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance work across client sites
• Represent the business professionally when dealing directly with customers
• Complete all required paperwork and site documentation
• Collect materials and coordinate site logistics as required
• Maintain accurate site records and diaries
• Manage own tools, PPE, vehicle, and access requirements
• Support site surveys, installations, and project handovers when needed
• Undertake refurbishment works where required
• Attend site and team meetings
• Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams
• Be flexible to work occasional weekends or outside standard hours to meet operational requirements

You will be a hands-on maintenance professional with excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to deliver high-quality work while building strong client relationships.
