The Client and Project Info: My client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to work on a water treatment scheme in Portsmouth. The project involves delivering key civil and infrastructure works within a regulated water environment. Site Engineer Responsibilities: Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme. Supporting the delivery of civil engineering works on a water treatment site. Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth project delivery. Managing site records, quality documentation, and as-built information. Carrying out QA checks and completing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring work progress. Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with health, safety, and environmental standards. Assisting with surveys and technical problem-solving on site. Site Engineer Requirements: Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects. Experience on water treatment, wastewater, or utilities projects is essential. Strong setting out and surveying experience. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Valid CSCS card. SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial but not essential.
