Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location: Deeside, Wales

Salary: -51,000 per annum

Shifts: 4 on / 4 off - 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off

HR GO Recruitment are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join a leading manufacturing business based in Deeside.

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production machinery, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and quickly diagnosing mechanical, electrical and basic control & instrumentation faults.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Fault-find and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Maintain machinery to a high standard and minimise downtime.
• Complete maintenance documentation and CMMS records.
• Support continuous improvement across the site.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams.

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standards.

About You

• Time-served Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• Level 3 City & Guilds / ONC / BTEC.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Confident using CMMS and completing maintenance documentation.
• HACCP Level 2 desirable.
