A leading precision engineering company in Poole is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Assembly Engineer to join their high-quality production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the aerospace sector, assembling complex, high-specification components to industry standards.

• Sub-assembly of machined components to meet strict aerospace standards

• Performing tasks including:

  • Staking bearings

  • Heli-coil fitting

  • Valve assembly

  • Beading using aerospace-grade sealants (e.g., PR1770)

• Conducting self-inspection and testing of finished assemblies

• Reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings and detailed assembly instructions

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly is essential

• A solid understanding of aerospace assembly techniques

• Ability to work accurately with hand tools and precision instruments

• Experience in pressure testing would be a distinct advantage

• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and quality-focused
