We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to cover a commercial building in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for the MandE maintenance for a tenant, ensuring all systems are compliant, safe, and running efficiently. Please note this job requires you to work a shift pattern on 4on 4off for three weeks and then 5on 3off for for four weeks.Our client is open to engineers with experience in the hotel sector who would be interested in moving into the commercial sector. Key Responsibilities:Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance in commercial propertiesDiagnosing and resolving electrical faults quickly and effectivelyConducting inspections, testing, and compliance checksEmergency lighting testing and remedialWorking on motors, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, and three-phase power systemsMaintaining accurate records and documentationDelivering a high standard of customer service on-siteCollaborating with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent service deliveryRequirements:Fully qualified in electrical engineering (NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, or equivalent)18th Edition Wiring RegulationsPrevious experience working on plant systems in commercial buildingsStrong understanding of electrical systems and componentsGood fault-finding skills and the ability to work independentlyPackage and Benefits:£45,000 per annum4on 4off for three weeks and then 5on 3off for for four weeksMobile phone, PDA, uniform, and specialist tools providedPensi
