Student Support Advisor
KC Group are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Student Support Advisor based in the Newcastle area. The role is paying an hourly rate of £13.00-£13.50 per hour (dependent on experience), working on full-time, temporary basis (potential to become permanent), Monday- Friday, 8.30am- 5pm, with 1 hour lunchYou''ll be the first point of contact for students, providing clear, empathetic support across in-person, phone, email, live chat, and messaging platforms. Working as part of a proactive team, you''ll handle student enquiries, offer guidance, and refer complex issues to specialist teams to ensure an excellent student experience.Key responsibilities of the Student Support Advisor include: Responding to student queries promptly and professionallyMonitoring attendance and advising on absence-related mattersSupporting student wellbeing and identifying safeguarding concernsManaging student data and contributing to reportingCoordinating campus activities and eventsActing as a liaison between students and academic staff To be considered for the Student Support Advisor role: Experience in a student-facing, advisory, customer service or support roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA patient, empathetic, and proactive approachConfidence working with data and multiple systems (CRM experience desirable)Ability to work both independently and as part of a team This is a great opportunity to make a real impact on student success while developing valuable experience in a fast-
