Morson Talent is delighted to partner with a leading infrastructure organisation to recruit a Structures Engineer to join their Asset Management division. This role plays a vital part in supporting and developing safe and sustainable infrastructure solutions across a major road network.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll help identify asset needs, manage structural assessments, and contribute to the development and delivery of long-term maintenance strategies.

• Support the management of highway structures assets by preparing survey briefs and reviewing survey outcomes

• Collaborate with technical partners to deliver assessment works and treatment option development

• Undertake early-stage design and option development aligned with national standards

• Carry out structural reviews in accordance with CS 451 and perform assessments using relevant DMRB methodologies

• Assist in developing long-term programmes and scheme options, focusing on cost-efficiency, buildability, and safety

• Ensure effective documentation and reporting to support investment decisions and value management processes

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with relevant experience

• Working towards (or holding) a professional qualification (e.g., IEng/CEng with ICE or similar)

• Demonstrable experience in structural inspections, renewals design or assessments

• Familiarity with UK highways standards including DMRB, MCHW, Eurocodes

• Understanding of CDM 2015 and its practical application in highway projects

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• A full UK driving licence (max 3 points) is essential
