We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. This is a night trunking position, transporting a double-deck trailer from Birchwood to Northampton and back, running Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: Operate a Class 1 double-deck trailer safely and efficiently. Complete trunk runs to Northampton, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Carry out thorough pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness. Safely load and secure cargo to prevent movement or damage in transit. Maintain accurate records, including mileage, fuel use, and delivery times. Adhere strictly to all road traffic laws and company safety procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues promptly. Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs as required. What We''re Looking For: Minimum 2 years'' experience driving Class 1 HGVs. Good understanding of road safety legislation and best practices. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Able to manage time effectively and meet tight delivery schedules. Physically capable of handling loading/unloading when required. Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
