Mechanical SupervisorLocation: Cardiff Company: International Engineering and Construction Contractor Sector: Construction / MandE Salary: 50,000 - 75,000 + Package (DOE)OverviewWe are working with a leading international engineering and construction contractor turning over 500 million per annum, delivering complex mechanical and piping installations across major projects.Due to continued project growth in Cardiff, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead piping installation works on site, ensuring delivery meets programme, quality and safety expectations.This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage site teams effectively within a structured project environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee piping installation crews including pipe fitters, welders and specialist subcontractorsEnsure all works are installed in accordance with approved drawings, isometrics and technical specificationsPlan and allocate labour, plant and materials to maintain programme targetsMonitor welding activities and ensure compliance with quality control proceduresInspect pipework routing, alignment, supports and installation tolerancesCoordinate pressure testing, flushing and commissioning preparation activitiesTrack daily productivity and adjust manpower allocation as requiredEnforce permit-to-work systems and site safety standardsDeliver daily briefings and liaise closely with QA/QC and project teamsAttend coordination me
