CNC Machinist

Hours: 39 hours per week + available overtime Shift Pattern:Mon-Thurs: 15:00-00:00Fri: 12:00-17:00About the Role: We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our high-tech machine shop. You will be responsible for setting up, proving out, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machinery (Mazak), producing parts for the aircraft interiors industry. This is a key role in ensuring smooth production runs and maintaining high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Set up a range of Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines to produce both simple and complex parts for low-batch, high-mix production.Edit and create basic CNC programs using GandM code.Operate machinery to meet production targets and quality standards.Conduct self-inspections of repeat work using the appropriate tools and techniques.Perform regular Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on the equipment.Report any production issues or defects to the Team Lead and engineering team.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.Track operational performance and provide feedback.Collaborate effectively with peers and support teams.Adhere to company quality management standards.Follow EHandS guidelines and ensure compliance.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following housekeeping and FOD rules.Required Skills and Experience:City and Guilds CNC/NC qualifications or at least 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience in a precision engineering environment.Extensive experience
