The Manager, Motorsports represents a key role within our Motorsport team taking on responsibility for developing and implementing events, hospitality programmes and brand experiences, at and away from track, with support from and to account team members.Account Overview
As a result of growth to a key client’s global partnership portfolio, Wasserman is looking for a motivated Manager to join the Brands team. This position is fundamental to managing account teams to plan and deliver partnership events and hospitality planning, aligned to client requirements in terms of audience/guest profile, objectives, budget parameters, and performance KPIs.What you will be doing
Development and management of a trusted and healthy client relationship as day-to-day contactLead the relationships and management of client markets, all agencies, and F1 motorsport partnersEffective management of regular project and status meetings with clients (and markets where relevant), including consolidation of notes and actionsSupport in the campaign strategy and project planning (with Account lead)Lead all market communication, global toolkits, activation planningDevelopment and management of project timelines, budgets, invoicing/cost management, PO’sImplementation of all aspects of race campaign touch points including; asset mapping and tracking, general rights delivery, talent/ambassador appearances, live activations, digital and social strategies, PR and CommsSupport in KPI setting and campaign evaluationApprovals process and management with F1 and motorsport networkThe skills and experience you need
Agency experience, preferably Motorsport (F1) experienceExperience working on large global consumer brands is preferred, but not essentialAbility to influence decision making processes, both within the Agency and the client organisationAbility to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlinesAbility to think on your feet and take appropriate actions to resolve any unforeseen issues as they arise while keeping professional and poised exteriorAbility to enthuse and motivate othersPresentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers including use of Microsoft PowerPointExcellent communication skills – verbal and written – and attention to detailCreative thinkingKnowledge of, and passion for, Formula 1 is essential while wider sport, music and entertainment is a bonusFlexible working applies, a minimum of three days a week working from London office requiredWasserman does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other reason prohibited by law in provision of employment opportunities and benefits.
